Meet Your Advocate
With more than 20 years of experience in Texas public education, Saumnya Hart brings the unique perspective of a teacher, campus administrator, educational leader, and special education advocate.
As the founder of Heart to Hart Student Advocacy & Consulting, Saumnya combines firsthand knowledge of the Texas special education system with compassionate guidance to help families confidently navigate ARD meetings, IEPs, educational planning, and school collaboration.
She is a Certified Special Education Advocate, a member of the ARC, and a doctoral scholar in Educational Leadership whose research focuses on educational leadership and advocacy. Saumnya was also selected to participate in the Oxford Round Table at the University of Oxford, where she engaged with educational leaders from around the world on advancing educational practice and leadership.
Whether reviewing documents, preparing for meetings, or developing advocacy strategies, Saumnya is committed to helping families feel informed, prepared, and empowered every step of the way.
